I like shopping there, its just some of their employees are rude and dont care.. Not all but just some.. There was this employee talking on the phone while working and was talking loud about her business then she started cussing and just didnt care if anybody was listening. I understand if maybe she was just having a bad day but hey go outside on your breaktime or lunch and yell all you want… – George Carrillo

I miss Dr. Bruce at the pharmacy. He is an outstanding pharmacist. God bless you wherever you are!???? – Gossoup Girlz

I have to be honest, unless you live around the area, there’s no reason to come here for the produce. It’s more expensive than sprouts. The other products (such as snacks, cereal, etc) are a great price. Walmart associates will get no discount for any food items so there’s no real incentive for me to return 🙁 – Isabella The Great

Honestly i don’t like walmart because of the parking issue and its always busy, however these mini walmart stores i can easily get in and out with not much of a wait compared to other walmarts, they also have a decent selection of gorcerie options as well as non gorcery items here – Jason H

Compared to the one in Hawthorne, this location seems well maintained but not patronized to crush levels. I found everything I was looking for. The produce looks good but is overpriced and underripe, just like the large grocery chains. – Em Eff

Well my doctor wrote me a prescription for 120 tablets but the pharmacist refused to fill it. He, an asian man, said that “they” were trying to get people to cut back on taking this specific medication and if I wanted the entire 120 tablets I could go somewhere else. WOW, a pharmacist overriding what I paid a doctor to advise me on. What is this world coming to?!?!?!? – Melissa G

I came in with a valid legitimate prescription from my doctor and the lady behind the counter had a visceral reaction to my presence . Apparently she did not like me. I don’t know why. I’m a good citizen. I am a white male I have good education (BA/BA/M.DIV) ( which may actually be why) but I could tell that she was searching for a way to deny my prescription . it was obvious . I remained very pleasant & polite but later she called me and said she could not fill this prescription because I was too far away from my home address (Lakewood). I told her that I have more than one residence but you can only list one on your driver’s license. I was curretly living in Palos Verdes at the time for several months (this is the closest Walmart to PV) but she made up a bunch of mumbo jumbo and I just basically said goodbye. I know that she was lying to me because I previously filled my prescription at other Walmarts even in Duarte and also in Burbank, so whatever her issue was whether racism (yes, there is racism against whites , particularly white males, when the “minority” is the majority in southern Cal, & she was non-white,) or something else I don’t know, but it was clearly not part of their policy. – LOVE FAITH-HOPE
