I received the most incredible service from Jen today in the photo dept. She set up a Trakphone I was buying for my husband who is suffering from dementia. She went overboard to help me since I’m not technical enough to have set it up. Many thanks to her. – Kathryn Ingenito

I have been going to this Walgreens since it opened and the pharmacist, Harry has always made my experience excellent there..he’s extremely helpful when I have a problem with a prescription and takes the time to explain my prescriptions to me…Harry is always trying to make things easier for me..thank you Harry for looking out for me – Alice Neary

I popped by in the afternoon for a flu vaccination. I had thought to call ahead and make an appointment but where is the adventure in that? Last winter I was struck by both the flu and bronchitis and quickly came to the conclusion that experiencing a second act would not be wise. This year I would heed the advice of others and vaccinate. But what would this process be like? As it happens the pharmacist asks that you fill out a short questionnaire. There might be a bit more to it if you are not in their computer system but I have been a Walgreens patron for some time. The wait time between completing the form and getting the shot was less than five minutes. I would consider the pharmacy to have been low to moderately busy. The counter never without a customer while the drive-thru was buzzing with activity. Correct staffing levels are always a win. The women the vaccination was swift and the injection relatively (mostly relatively) painless. I should have paid better attention but I would guess that it was around twelve minutes from arrival to departure. An excellent and positive experience. – That Orca Girl
I am sorry to say that there is a manager here that doesn’t have very well customer care abilities has attitude. But it is an okay place. I will travel a little further to go to a better one. – Boop Fore

this location should be open 24 hours a day and they should fix the drive thru only one lane open and this place gets backed up my only complaint is they wait for pharmacy – jimmie carbut
they take forever to fill prescriptions, they tell you to come back in 2 hours then tell you that they don’t have the medicine in stock – KIMBERLY Kennedy
I shop at this WalGreens also if I’m down that way. ( That’s a little South of me). I also get an Rx’s from there if the one in Belleview happens to be out.

Went to pick up my prescription at the store in Davenport, they did not open until 9. Called at 9 and asked to transfer, they told me to call the store I wanted to transfer it to. I explained I needed it transfered twice. I had appointments the rest of the day, they guaranteed it would be ready by 10:30. When I went to pick it up they told me it would be 20 to 25 minutes and I should come back later if I could not wait. They were rude and uncaring. – Linda Lamping-Harris
Tried to drop off a prescription at the drive up window, after waiting five minutes to get to the window , the man at the window wanted to know why I wasn’t using my usual Walgreens . I told him I didn’t fill prescriptions often and this one was near my dentist so I thought I would use them. He sounded put out and told me if I wanted it filled there, it would be ready in30 minutes. I told him if they didn’t want my business to return the prescription to me and I would go elsewhere. He quickly gave it back to me. That is the first time in my life I have felt unwelcome to do business with a Walgreens. I will not go back to that one again. – Donna Scheiman
When a pharmacy does not have the drug prescribed in stock it should not be your problem. Something as simple as prednisone eye drops should be a stocked item. I don’t want to hear it’s backordered or it might be available at another pharmacy.
Back in the day, when I was a 16 year old pharm techie, when a customer came in with a script for which we did not have in stock we;
Called around to other pharmacies until we found it.
We drove over to that pharmacy and retrieved it
We filled the customers prescription and delivered to their home at no additional charge!
