I have appreciated this pharmacy for many years over all others. There is one tech who has a very bad attitude, but i don’t let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch. Other than a couple few difficult transactions with “the avoider”, who seems angry that you want her to do her job, I have always been happy with the Ridgecrest Sav-on. I have learned to just hope someone else will wait on me, or just avoid interaction with her. I must say I always loved it before.

The pharmacist, Joseph Furtado, seems occupied with other personal work to counsel patients and often has an attitude. The pharmacist always is vague and suggests that the patient knows their body better than their doctor. Compound creams are no longer ready in 1-2 days like before. Judy (technician) is always talking about TV shows or dealing with family issues and not working. Barb (technician) maintains her time avoiding customers. Their are no Bi-lingual speakers in the pharmacy which makes Spanish speaking customers feel they are dealing with a racist staff even when the Pharmacist tries. Only problem I have with Walmart at this time is , they really need to pay more attention to placement of clothing racks ,etc. It is very hard to maneuver around the clothing departments and trying to shop when driving the mobile carts for the disabled . Very frustrating and sometimes impossible. – michelle jones
I am now doing grocery shopping at regular store. Prices are close or same. Quality at grocery store is better. Lot of other items I shop for aren’t stocked. I spent one day looking through 3 depts. and found no help. This isn’t good way of doing business. I will say that most of the staff is helpful. – Laurie Bush
New store location and employees are less than helpful as they don’t know if they have or carry certain products. I asked can you look in you computer inventory system to see if you have, and are just out of stock on some items or if you just don’t carry these items. I was told they don’t have that capability. – marke ford

Usually very friendly helpful staff. Pharmacy has one girl who will pretend (?) To call your doctor, but doesn’t really. Then she belittles and back peddles when you call her on it. The actual Rx doc is fantastic. But beware the pretty smiling face, and make all communications with the doctors/insurance yourself! Double check everything when you pick it up, if you walk away they will not fix it without calling in the manager and calling higher ups.(did not leave store, just moved away from counter so next person in very long line could be helped) Walgreens as a Corp has always taken care of any problems. Photo has always been spot on and done fantastic work. Cashier’s are friendly and efficient. Girls in pharmacy is only reason for poor review. – Tina T.T. Moore
This pharmacy used to be pleasant and quick. Now every single time there are issues. They say they didn’t get the fax from the doctor’s office (even though they have the fax receipt that it went thru) or I picked up my script in AZ
