Great selection on most groceries, friendly employees, reasonable prices on most groceries, though produce tends to be on pricier side if not on sale (a bit disappointing since Safeway used to be much more reasonable a few years ago). Tends to have long lines at checkstands at least every 3rd time I go there. – Naomi Preston
Quite a large Safeway with a fantastic layout. One of largest bakery sections I’ve ever seen in a Safeway as well as helpful staff who remember you by name if you shop here on the regular. Cool people, good service and great vibes. I’ve only had positive experiences here ???????? – TheCrimsonChin

Dec 2017: Had to take another set and this time they promised 20 min and I received it in 20 min for same price $15 for a set of two. July 2017: Took a set of passport photos and they asked me to return in 20 min. An hour later, I return and they’re not ready yet. A different guy quickly apologizes and prints them out in 5 min with a $5 credit. – Coy Tran
This store is located in Ralston avenue close to Belmont Caltrain station. It has a pharmacy too. You get almost everything here however sometime items used for infants is not always available. Otherwise this store is great. – Khadanga Krushna Nanda

Safeway isent honest about priceing /sales. The produce is alot of seconds. At top prices .ive found many “mistakes”on my reciets. But never in my favor. Strange how that works out. Food co was a affordable store ,but got run out .could get 3 or 4 times the food there. Shame on safeway. We can not afford that bs.right? – Greg Edwards
This is the absolute worst Safeway in the Bay. Terrible produce selection, insanely long lines, very minimal staff, and I’m overcome with instant regret every single time I wind up here. I’ve been in line for over a half hour right now, glad I didn’t get ice cream. – Kitty M
Worst Safeway I’ve ever been to. One checker and people were lined up back into the produce department. Took me almost a half hour to get to the register. The guy behind me abandoned his shopping cart and said he was going to Lunardi’s. Never going back. – Chuck Dougherty
