Definitely my favorite CVS in the area! Working coupon center, the store is always stocked, cleaned, and organized, and several of the cashiers (Jeri, Tammy, Bridget) are awesome and super friendly! There are a few that are the complete opposite though. I’ve never used the pharmacy., – Andrew Gileo

Scott is an excellent pharmacist and I believe pharmacy manager, he has been there for as long as I have gone there and has lived through the various incarnations (business names). The counter staff can be a little daunting but otherwise the pharmacists themselves are top notch as they should be as your health and well being advocates. The rest of the store is standard fare but what you really want from a pharmacy is competent pharmacists, Scott being the best of the bunch! – William Moore

These guys are slow, unfriendly, and anti consumer. First they made us wait over 10 minutes just to ring us up. Then they were going to skip the discount associated with posted sale prices. And finally tossed the receipt in front of us without so much as saying thanks. Unhappy bunch over here. Avoiding this store in the future. – Joe Khoei

My husband and I had our prescriptions delivered to the Rite Aid pharmacy for over ten years, so when our insurance company changed us to CVS in the Target store, I was a little hesitate, but not anymore! The staff which includes Tina and Cherry are so nice to work with!
I go by just to say hello when I am in the store shopping! – Julie Hubbard

Very friendly & helpful. I can be hard to deal with but I have never had a problem with this group. They seem to care and go the extra mile when I need to work with the insurance & the doctors. – Ted Clouse

Long before this became CVS Pharmacy it was Target’s own pharmacy, and I am very Happy to say that the pharmacy team remained the same fine caring people. Without whom I would not have been or remained a loyal customer of Tina and her team. So Thank you CVS for that!!! To me a Good pharmacy is the people who are there to help you, and lookout for you, are intelligent, caring and understanding. So again Thank you CVS, for getting it Right!!! – A’sa Melvin

CVS Pharmacy

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5)

This is a well stocked store with friendly employees who are knowledgable of their store’s inventory. Downgrade to two stars for never since 2004 have I been in the store when there were enough employees. They are always short staffed. – Rami Safar

I agree with several other reviewers, this store has very rude employees that really act as if you are annoying them by shopping there, EXCEPT for one woman who is always extremely friendly and polite, and greets every single customer as they enter and exit the store. Other than that, this location is generally well stocked for CVS, although they often don’t have working price checkers/ coupon centers. I’ve never used the pharmacy. – Andrew Gileo

Service at this place is ok and employees are user friendly but look at their restroom, how badly they have maintained. Looks like it’s not cleaned for months – Parthasarathi Dash

This CVS shares the parking lot with the mall and the Safeway grocery store. There it can sometimes take a bit to get in and out from the lot. Despite to that the store itself has a good selection. Staff working here is always friendly and helping you out any time. – Jonas Gebhardt

This is a standard-issue CVS, so no real complaints about the store other than it looks a little dated. This place is open 24 hours, so that’s a plus. Unfortunately this store is right next to Valley Fair. The traffic alone makes it inconvenient to come here. – Alan Szeto

Just a heads-up, despite the fact this is the first result for “24 hour pharmacy san jose”, the pharmacy closes at 9pm. The nearest CVS that ACTUALLY has a pharmacy open 24 hours is on Barryessa, about 20 minutes away from here. Hopefully, if you’ve got a sick spouse at home at midnight, this note might save you the 40 minutes I spent for lack of the info. – Alexander Miles
