I’ve been by here with three different prescriptions now and none of them were in stock. Another time I called ahead to make sure the medication was available to get filled next week and they told me the pharmacist couldn’t fill it because it was “a very large quantity.” (60) They suck. – William Aper

Fast, polite, helpful, and personal. This is the best pharmacy. Everyone who works here knows their job and does it right!
I recommend this phamacy to anyone reading my review. – Debbie Weaver

I wish they would label this location properly in Google maps! It is CVS Pharmacy I side of Target!
Previously Target Pharmacy.
Which, as it happens, is where most of my review stems from. Luckily CVS kept the pharmacists I have been dealing with for years. One in particular, Patty, since 2007.

September of 2007 I was living in Fullerton and was hospitalized within hours of being dead. I avoided going because I thought I just had the stomach flu. I never was seriously ill in my adult life up to this point. Now due to a major acute pancreatitis and it’s effects on my other internal organs over a week I was close to being dead. I was informed during my hospitalization I was diabetic and probably had been for years. When I was discharged, and referred to a new local health clinic, My prescriptions were referred to Target Pharmacy when I first met Patty. I was also having misdiagnosed heart issues at the same time growing more frequent and worse over 2008 and leading to a major heart attack and surgery in January of 2009.

So during the past decade my health has been deteriorating on several internal and muscleskeletal systems. I have been through several different types of health coverages and programs culminating in my being found federally disabled a few years back. I have lived in three or four different cities in this same time period.

The one thing that I have been able to keep as a constant is my pharmacy. I was happy and willing to do so thanks to the fantastic service, help, and caring I have received over the years from at first Patty and within a couple of years Jeanie also. I cannot remember the names of all the support staff a few of which I also have been dealing with for several years now. Nonetheless they treat me with the same characteristics that keep me coming to this pharmacy.
There is one sentence that describes all of the staff that have made it through the transition from Target to CVS.
They treat me like a human being!

Having to switch all of my doctor’s over the years due to coverage. Which became increasingly difficult when it came to my last GP and his PA’s. Like other doctors nowadays he came off cold, calculated and skeptical of my health and conditions when I first met him. After years of being his patient and primarily being seen by his number one PA (she has a much better constitution) he finally just changed one day into a different person towards me. I think after having a detailed internal chart and the several hospitalizations and surgeries he got it and got me.

I know this has been a long review with a lot of personal information. I wanted to give a detailed background of why and in what ways I really like this pharmacy and its longer term staff.
For one that has had to deal with the blunt, cold, calculated and curt demeanor of many doctors in modern times and more than most.
I find the way I am treated by the longer term staff at this pharmacy a refreshing return the basic tenants of being human and treating their customers as such.

I am reserving judgment on the newer members. They’re a bit stiff, but they are new and many in a new job. Given time they may just fold into the behavior patterns of the older staff. Having come from a management background I have watched new staff come in and learn from and apply the positive attributes of the phamoscists in charge. – Sean Keone

CVS Pharmacy

Address: 455 N State College Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92831, United States

Phone: +1 714-871-6700

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars (4.5 / 5)

The store itself is ok but the pharmacy is horrific. Constant mistakes with prescriptions. The slowest service ever because of under staffing. The pharmacist has refused to fill prescriptions they felt were not appropriate and questioned the doctor. Very unprofessional and a absolutely no customer service to speak of. Avoid like the plague. – Gary Howell

Their bathrooms are out of order and only employee bathroom was available. My four-year-old had to pee and we’re told that it was Employee only and cannot use it. I will never spend money in the store again. Who doesn’t allow a 4 year old to pee?! Get real – raquel brucki

Always getting the run around from the pharmacy. Never receive faxes from my Dr. Office which put me in a bind more than once. Time to look for a new pharmacy. Staff is pretty nice though. They also charge a fee on top of my prescription cost. – Mike Meyer

CVS Pharmacy

Address: 2200 N Harbor Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92835, United States

I have tried for two days to speak to someone in the pharmacy. I am new to CVS and Aetna. No one EVER came on the line to help me. This is horrible customer service, and I am going to contact Aetna and let them know. Today I waited for 9 minutes and finally just hung up. – Diane Jensen

Well stocked store, friendly pharmacists specially Adeline and Trac, also nice counter staff staff.
Hint… If you are tired, grouchy , or sick don’t go between 4:30 and 6:30 pm, there will be a line at the pharmacy and you will get ticked off.
You have been warned! – Bryan Dietz

The customer service is horrible, no matter how much lead time, scripts are never ready when promised. Script was called in Thursday, called to confirm Friday, told on Saturday they don’t have the script yet. After 5 mins of arguing, told to come back late to have it filled.
We are taking out business to Sunny Hills Pharmacy.

Worst CVS Pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They don’t fill meds correctly and they say they are filling the prescription but when you get there the next day they have no idea who you are or why you are there and your definitely not there. Not to mention how rude the pharmacy technicians are, especially over the phone. – Bianca Vega

While location is not good / dirty outside including parking lot and homeless people/, employees are very friendly. This location wasn’t remodelled as of yet. I love shopping at CVS, always find great deals. – Nela O
